About Sara

My name is Sara Yen (she/her) and I’ve been a licensed, registered dietitian/nutritionist since 2010. I am passionate about helping all people develop a healthy and sustainable relationship with food and eating in a supportive environment, informed by evidenced-based principles.

I specialized in working with adults and older adolescents seeking medical nutrition therapy for any of the following conditions (or combination of conditions): eating disorders or disordered eating, food intolerances or allergies, digestive disorders, prediabetes or diabetes. I work with individuals aged 16+ and the parents or caregivers of children aged 5-17.

My work is firmly rooted in the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES) which emphasizes liberatory frameworks that underscore the value of all embodied people.

I look forward to working with you.
